The Building

A creative home on Rose Place.

90 Rose Place is a home for Liverpool's creative community and a city centre hub where independent businesses can put down roots, collaborate and grow — created with its residents from day one.

Set in the heart of Liverpool, 90 Rose Place has long been part of the city's working landscape, originally operating as a joinery workshop serving Liverpool's historic docks. Rich in industrial character, many of its original features remain today — including beautifully preserved 1920s workshop doors that now frame the photography studio.

As the city's need for traditional warehouse space declined, demand for affordable creative workspaces grew. Rather than allowing the building's story to end, it has been thoughtfully reimagined for creatives, by creatives — transforming a former industrial workshop into a permanent home for independent businesses, while preserving the character and craftsmanship that make the building unique.

The aim is simple: a friendly, well-run building where independent makers can put down roots, share a bit of community, and welcome their own customers. Studios are occupied on a rolling basis — enquire via the contact form for availability.
